Get misinformed about the FCC's LPFM Scam.

Free Radio Berkley was one of the more famous micropower stations around- before it was raided and shut down by the FCC. Their website still has some killer news and information, including information about ordering a kit to build your own micropower station!

Radio4All is a site with a huge list of links to community micropower stations and organizations around the world. Some of them work, some of them don't, but you're bound to find something interesting here.

Phlegm Radio Extravaganza is a decent (and strangely-titled) site with lots of links to other community micropower stations, the latest news from the free radio movement, and tons of mp3 downloads of pirate broadcasts from around the country. (This is where we get some of our syndicated programming.)

The Free Radio Network ...yet another general site of micropower radio info, news, and links.

Free the Air seems to be a loose confederacy of Pacific NW unlicensed broadcasters. Currently (April 4th, 2002) under construction, but looks promising.

Broadcast Warehouse is where we got most of the stuff we needed to get on the air. The high-end models aren't cheap, but they have kits and ampifiers that are definitley within the budget of any individual or community organization willing to sock away a couple hundred bucks here and there. YOU COULD HAVE A WORKING RADIO STATION FOR UNDER $1500!!!! That's doable at a summer job, kids!!!!

Save Internet Radio is a watchdog website that's trying to do more than just stand idly by while corporate interests take away our newest way of communi- cating with one another. That's right- internet radio could be just as illegal as Napster soon. Stay informed. This stuff is important.

And, finally, the fledgeling online hub of Jaxcore is up at www.jaxmusic.net with links to bands, festivals, venues, and important political actions that you won't want to miss out on. (They link to us too.)

Here's a link to our J-ville webcasting friends over
at UNF's WOSP Osprey Radio.

And here's one to Larry Briscoe's Jacksonville band webpage, www.jaxbands.com.
Hmmm, maybe I should categorize this page.
